Role:  Relationship Manager – Loan Restructuring

Our client, a leading bank, is looking for a relationship manager to pro-actively undertake positive and active management of the Bank’s problem lending portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with stressed trading businesses to restructure their debt and help restore them to health.

The Role:
-  Implement strategies to maximize economic debt recovery
-  Manage portfolio of debt recovery situations to ensure repayment & minimize loss
-  Contribute to achievements against key financial performance measures and budgets
-  Delivery of recovery strategies across multiple lines of Credit & Operational Risk
-  Acquisition & management of equity interests
-  Understanding of the Irish Property Market
-  Prepare portfolio reporting including clarity on size, shape and quality of assets
-  Compliance with all Group Audit / Risk requirements both internal & external

The Candidate:
-  Proficient insolvency/debt recovery/credit control/corporate lending skills
-  Working knowledge of insolvency law and enforcement of security
-  QFA qualification / equivalent in line with Minimum Competency Code
-  Ability to analyze property transactions, cash flow and financial modelling
-  Good working knowledge of Insolvency Law and Lending Security
-  Assess structures and provide solutions for complex financial credit transactions
