Quality Specialist/Pharmacist


The position

To plan, manage, co-ordinate and control the activities of the Quality Systems area of the Sandyford Compounding Site.

To ensure that process changes and new product developments meet the GMP quality requirements

To assist in the development of a process of continuous improvement in all aspects of Compounding 

To ensure that the compounded products provided meet and exceed the customer requirements and expectations




Review and management of the quality indicators to drive Quality Improvement

Assist in Investigation and root cause identification of all significant quality issues

Ensuring compliance with the EU manufacturing and GMP requirements and with Baxter Quality Management Standards

Provision of Quality Indicators to the relevant management teams

Support/ Manage both internal and external process and product audits

Work collaboratively with other Quality departments

Support manufacturing in achieving their goal in a manner that ensures compliance and enhanced quality

Management of products / process non-conformities /deviations

Provision of External Quality Indicators



Degree in Science or Pharmacy with 5  years’ experience in pharmaceutical or related industry. Experience leading/supervising others preferable but not essential.
