OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING TO RECRUIT A PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (LAYOUT)

Title : Principal Electrical Engineer
Work location: Budapest


Job description:
-Create low-level software to talk to high speed DSPs and imager hardware. The Development environment is primarily PC based
-Develop schematics, layouts and test fixtures
-Explore new technologies as part of a team deciding what technologies to use in the next generation products
-Support debugging embedded software as well as debugging at the boundary between software and hardware, using scopes logic analyzers, etc.
-Perform other related duties as required


Requirements:
-Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or similar
-Professional use of English is mandatory (both spoken and written)
-Professional Microprocessor experience, preferable with DSP or ARM core designs
-High Frequency board design
-Very good PCB routine experience
-Mentor PADs and Mentor DxDesigner experience would be advantageous
-Additional experience with wireless or battery powered devices and with hardware design for compact devices would be helpful
-CMOS imager and regulatory requirements (UL, CE, FCC) knowledge would be also a plus
-Team player and ability to work on multi-site development projects (Germany, Hungary, USA)
-Good presentation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
-This position may require occasional travel to Germany and to the USA.
