Job Title:  Manufacturing Operations Engineer

This is a contract role based in Limerick

Role Description and Responsibilities:

  •  Responsibility for the identification, prioritization and execution of corrections to address issues which impact manufacturing line OEE performance on a daily basis
  • Review ongoing performance trends to drive an overall improvement and consistency in manufacturing line OEE and hence manufacturing line output
  • Take a lead role in structured troubleshooting issues and identifying activities which reduce/eliminate detractors from overall OEE consistency
  • Use engineering data analysis tools (Pareto Analysis, MTBF, MTTR, Cycle time Analysis, Dynamic, Lean troubleshooting) to drive decisions
  • Working with Operations teams to gain alignment on priorities to drive OEE improvements
  • Ensure absolute adherence to all Quality system and Company Safety System requirements

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrated sound methodology in faultfinding techniques
  • Previous experience in engineering support roles in a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Validation processes and regulated environments
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements
  • Knowledge of Equipment and process safety aspect to EU standards
  • Proven strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated capability to take the lead in resolving technical issues
  • Medical Devices or other FDA regulated industry experience would be an advantage
  • Good communication and reporting skills both verbal and written to allow work to be carried out over a shift change and beyond
  • Demonstrate a high quality of work and attention to detail
  • Persistence to attain resolution to problems
  • Results orientated, attention to detail
  • Lean certification (Black Belt) would be strongly advantageous
  • Knowledge and practical application of MTBF, MTTR and OEE analysis would be an advantage
  • Engineering qualification with experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
