As a member of one of our business development units, you will be based abroad for 11 months every year, placed in any of our current 27 global destinations. You will spend an average of 3-6 months in each country to complete your project, responsible for gathering all the raw material necessary to publish both our online content and our country reports, which are featured in leading newspapers around the world.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Working as part of a team of three people, responsible for gathering editorial content and advertising for special advertising sections on countries, sectors and regions.
  • Providing sector analysis and highlighting key events, themes, and issues affecting any given sector.
  • Conducting local research on current issues and topics relevant to the country project, including socio-economic and political developments.
  • Building up contact lists and profiling the key companies in each country.
  • Preparing and conducting interviews with top ranking business and political officials around the world.
  • Implementing the project strategy set by Head Office, and completing an editorial outline once all interviews have been concluded.

Job Requirements:

 

  • University graduates with a sound knowledge of international political, business and economic affairs.
  • Fluent in English. One of the following languages is a plus: French, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent personal presentation and strong communication, networking and public relations skills.
  • Results-driven, determined, energetic and talented in working with people.  
  • Sales orientated (experience in sales desirable but not essential).
  • Results-driven, determined, energetic and talented in working with people.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes.
