Client:

Our client a leading telecom company requires 2 Contract C Software Engineer's for 6 month role in Limerick.

Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and developing software within a project based environment. The role involves developing software for the telecommunications market.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include:

• Creation and review of Functional Specifications.
• Ability to design and implement complex modules with minimal supervision.
• Review Design Specifications and code developed by other team members.
• The ability and willingness to take a component design and progress it through to development, testing, documentation and delivery.
• Create and review Test plans.
• Installation and delivery of developed applications to a customer site.

Experience:

Ideally candidates should have a relevant degree, 3+ years industry experience and a strong background in the following areas:

• Experience in the full software development life-cycle
• Real-time/embedded software development
• Telecommunications and signalling systems including SS7, IN/CAMEL, PARLAY, MAP
• Distributed, mixed platform solutions
• C, C++, UNIX, Perl, Java
