Our client, a leading international Financial Services company with a presence in twenty five countries currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Automation Test Engineer.

 Based in the Companies Waterford Office, the following will be among the key tasks in the role:

·         Helping to providing strategic direction to the test automation team.

·         Taking ownership and accountability for problem resolution and ensuring the test automation team is successful in meeting agreed deliverables.

·         Providing mentoring and technical guidance to the Test team.

·         Making recommendations regarding the acquisition and development of the software and tools needed to increase testing efficiency.

 Skills and Experience Required:

·         Third level Degree within an IT discipline.

·         Minimum of 6/7 years professional experience with a number of these within a technical leadership role.

·         Knowledge of QA methods and procedures.

·         Experience with VB, VB Script, SQL and Flex.

·         Expert knowledge of testing tools such as HP Quality Centre, QTP, QC.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving ability.

·         Good understanding of mobile technology platforms.

 Salary and Benefits Offered:

·         Base salary in the region of €45,000 to €60,000
